  • The Break 82 Dobbin Street Brooklyn, NY, 11222 United States (map)

LOVE YOUR MOTHER — the coolest way to spend Earth Day. Join MILK, The Break and A/D/O for a day-long event that celebrates eco-conscious living and learn how to integrate sustainability into your creative practice. April 22 should be dedicated to enriching your mind, soul and closet.

12-8PM at The Break (82 Dobbin St, Brooklyn, NY 11222) - Clothing waste is the second largest polluter in the world behind oil. Every year, Americans throw away over 12.8 million tons of textiles. It's time for an eco-friendly spring clean. Bring your unwanted wares to The Break and we’ll donate them to one of our favorite local charities — Hour Children, Inc. You’ll receive 15% off your SS18 purchases. Shop vintage and know that you’re doing your part to prevent clothing waste!

As you shop, peruse works curated by Art Hoe Collective and mingle with the coolest crowd in BK.

The Break will be open for donations, shopping, sipping and dancing from 12-8PM.

5-8PM at A/D/O (29 Norman Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11222, across the street from The Break) - Reserve your seat at our panel! Meet us at the reception for networking over Novo Fogo cocktails curated by Sophia Roe. At 6PM, Moderator Caroline Leland (@carolinehleland) will lead a discussion on youth and sustainability with panelists Sophia Roe (@sophia_roe), Jae Kim (@bogusluck), Queen of Raw Creative Director Corbin Chase (@corbinchase, @queenofraw) and Jenny Welbourn (@wearilive). This event will aim to change the way you work, shop, and live, for the better.

Special thanks to Novo Fogo and Sixpoint for providing local + sustainable refreshments.
